Your body is ready to move better. Let's CREATE AND MAINTAIN that foundation.

The Balanced Movement Collective is a 12-week virtual small group longevity program that gives you the mobility foundation, the education, and the maintenance accountability to move and feel better in the gym, on the trail, and through everyday life.

Grounded to heal. Empowered to move. In community.

Founding cohort — 20 seats — September 21 through December 18

The Balanced Movement Collective is your virtual home for movement longevity.

In 12 weeks, you'll restore and maintain the movement foundation your body already knows how to build. The push, pull, squat, lunge, and twist patterns you developed as a kid are still in there, they just need to be reawakened. Life gets in the way. Injuries shift things. We stop playing the way we used to. The good news is that the brain and body are remarkably good at relearning, given the right practice. Also good news, you won’t be doing this alone.

Whether you are currently in a workout program or aiming to start one such as lifting weights, yoga, golf, hiking, pickleball, dance, or simply keeping up with your life, you will be ready. Before you can build sustainable strength, you have to be able to move well. This is where that starts, and it's the prerequisite for aging well and staying capable for decades.

THE PROMISE

September 21 - December 18, 2026

In 12 weeks you will gain:

  • Deep core engagement that translates to improved balance and stability

  • Greater spine, hip, knee and ankle mobility

  • Confidence to begin a weight lifting program in the New Year with a safe foundation already built

  • A mobility routine and habit that you can take with you anywhere, anytime

Whether you're getting ready to start a strength training program or you're already lifting and want to move smarter inside what you're already doing - this is the foundation that makes all of it work better.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This program is for you if:

  • You're an active adult and you want more flexibility to be able to move with better ease

  • You have been injured in the past and want to start a program but you are scared to hurt yourself

  • Your body feels stiffer than it used to and you haven't found the right practice to address it

  • You want to understand why your body moves the way it does, not just follow a routine

  • You're ready to show up consistently for something that will actually stick

  • You're in it for the long game - moving well for the next decade and beyond

  • You are already lifting and want better range, better mechanics and less stress on your joints

It's also a strong fit if you're preparing to start strength training and want to build the foundation first, or you're already lifting and want to move more efficiently.

Not sure if this is the right fit? Book a free 20-min discovery call and we'll talk it through.

HOW IT WORKS

Each month, the full cohort moves through the same phase together — which means the weekly group session is always grounded in exactly what you're working on.

Month 1: Connect

The foundation of everything. This month builds the breath awareness and body connection that underpins safe posture, core activation, balance, and joint control. This is the step most programs skip entirely. We start here on purpose.

Month 2: Build

We expand your range and layer in new joints and patterns, standing work, hip rotation, squat prep, deeper dynamic movement. Mastery comes through intentional repetition, so movement becomes automatic and confident instead of something you have to think your way through.

Month 3: Integrate

Mobility becomes flow. We introduce yoga sequencing, dynamic walking patterns, and functional movement that transfers directly into whatever you love, strength training, yoga, golf, hiking, pickleball, or simply moving through your day with confidence.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Four days a week of structured mobility programming, delivered through the Everfit app. Programming is progressive and clinical, designed to build on itself week over week. You move at your own pace, on your own schedule. Less than 3 hour per week commitment.

Weekly virtual group session, Wednesdays at 12PM EST / 9AM PST on Google Meet.

One hour together each week with Dr. Katie or a guest specialist. Each session opens with education around that week's programming: what you've been doing, why it's sequenced the way it is, and how it connects to the bigger picture. Expect to talk through modifications, real-life applications, and how to carry what you're learning into your everyday movement. All sessions are recorded and the replay will be shared so you can revisit anytime.

Three guest specialist sessions over the 12 weeks — a Performance Specialist Physical Therapist, a Preventive Medicine Physician, and a Pelvic Health Specialist Physical Therapist and Yoga Instructor. Each brings a different clinical lens to your movement education and replaces one of the weekly group sessions that month.

Optional 1:1 Movement Baseline Assessment with Dr. Katie — a private 60-minute virtual evaluation to assess where your body is and personalize your path through the program. Available to members at $175 (regular rate $250). Can be booked after enrollment.

WHY DR. KATIE

This program is the culmination of 15+ years of clinical practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Yoga Instructor.

Whether I'm working with someone who just got a new hip or someone who has been managing low back pain for years, I always start in the same place: a full body movement restoration. Not because something is wrong, but because that foundation is what makes everything else work. This program is that starting point -- brought to you wherever you are.

A DPT understands how the body moves at a clinical level. A yoga instructor understands how to teach that movement in a way that feels sustainable and whole. I am both. And I'm bringing everything I know into 12 weeks, for you.

"I've never felt like your average physical therapist. When you don't fit the mold, you create your own. Balanced by Katie is built around movement longevity - helping you feel strong, capable, and free in your body for as long as possible.”

THE INVESTMENT

Founding pricing is $696 for the full 12 weeks, paid in 3 monthly installments of $232 — less than most single-session specialty visits per week, for something designed to last. The price will rise to $797 for the next round.

12 Week Program runs September 21 - December 18 2026.

For context: a single month of studio yoga runs $150 to $250. This is 12 weeks of clinical-grade movement education, live coaching from a Doctor of Physical Therapy, weekly group sessions with real teaching and discussion, guest specialist calls, and a community of people doing the same work alongside you -- for less than one month of 1:1 PT.

Optional add-on: 1:1 Movement Baseline Assessment with Dr. Katie -- $175 (members only rate, regular $250)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to already exercise to do this program?

You don't need to be an athlete, but this program is designed for people who are already mobile and reasonably active -- someone who can walk a couple of miles and get up and down off the floor. If you're unsure whether it's the right fit, book a discovery call and we'll figure it out together.

Do I need equipment?

You will need a yoga mat, pillow, blanket, a non-elastic strap, and preferably 2 yoga blocks.

What if I'm already working out with a trainer or at a gym?

This program works alongside your existing training. I expect participants to use it to build the mobility foundation that makes their strength work more effective and reduces strain over time.

How much time does it take each week?

Four days of app-based programming (roughly 20 to 30 minutes per session) plus one 60-minute virtual group session per week. About 3 hours total per week.

What platform does the programming live on?

All exercise programming is delivered through the EverFit app. Weekly group sessions are held virtually via Google Meet - easy to join from anywhere.

What if I miss a live session?

Sessions are recorded and available to members. You won't lose the content.

Is this medical treatment?

This is education-based movement programming, not a clinical treatment program. If you have a current injury or significant medical concern, a private evaluation with Dr. Katie is a better starting point. Book a discovery call and I’ll point you in the right direction.
