PHYSICAL THERAPY is a way of healing and rehabilitating the body after an injury or surgery. Physical therapy can also help prevent surgery, as well as isolated overuse muscle, tendon, or joint injuries.

 My treatment process begins with listening to my patients and fully understanding their needs. I then develop a tailored program to maximize results. A key component of my process is helping my patients learn about their bodies and why I believe my prescribed treatments will be effective. I observe the body as a whole chain of moving parts that need optimal mobility and strength to move efficiently without pain.

 You'll benefit from years of professional rehabilitative experience, a solid partnership, a collaborative plan, measurable goals and results, individualized home exercise videos on your phone or computer, and the power to continue healing yourself on your own. I encourage regular, open dialogue with my patients, and they have full email and phone access to me.

What to Expect

Location:

  • Private physical therapy in your home or in an outdoor space of your choice, such as a field with a playground or the beach.

  • I will bring the necessary equipment to perform an assessment and treatment.

  • It’s ideal to have a large space in your home, garage, or outside of your home.


Assessment & treatment:

  • 60 minute assessment and treatment sessions

  • Full assessment includes measurements of joint range of motion, strength, and a full bio-mechanical assessment of daily activities pertinent to your complaint (such as squats, lunges, single leg standing, walking, running, reaching, lifting).

  • Treatment sessions will include manual therapy and corrective exercises. dependent on findings and goals.

  • Home exercise program videos.

  • Follow up emails and email correspondence throughout care.


Fees & Payment Options:

Rates are based on an undistracted 60 minute one on one session.

Package offerings:

    • 15% Discount: 5 sessions

    • 10% Discount: 10 sessions

Payment is accepted at time of visit in the form of cash, check, or PayPal*.

Balanced by Katie can provide a Superbill Payment Invoice that you will be able to submit via fax to your insurance company. Reimbursement will depend on individual Out of Network Benefits.
